The Long Season
The period of time from Pentecost (May 23) until Advent (Nov. 28) is variously known as “The Season of Pentecost” or “Ordinary Time.” In the life of the church, it is a period of going about the normal life of believers in God’s world, hearing the stories of God’s people in various times and places, and seeking to deepen our own discipleship.

Thanks to ...
• Karla Bruce and Wayne Rogers, singers, with Scott Taylor, piano, and Ted MacNeil, percussion, for leading the music for the Jazz Service last week
• Rev. Margaret Sagar, for filling in while Rev. Betsy Hogan is on vacation
