88 Keys fundraising campaign update
The May–June 2013 mini-fundraising campaign for the grand piano has already heard from nine supporters who have given a total of $2,400 to retire the debt. The Allen McKenzie Reid and Jim Holland music funds, plus individual donations and five fundraising concerts, have raised all but $8,000 of the cost of the piano. We’re getting there!

Everyone should have received a letter explaining the campaign to pay off the remaining debt on the piano by the first anniversary in mid-June. If you haven’t received a letter or want more information, please  contact Jill Rafuse, 492-4523 or rafuse@ns.sympatico.ca. One key is $100 and a full scale is $1,000, and all donations will be gratefully received. Cheques indicating “Piano Fund” can be made payable to St. Matthew’s United Church. Tax receipts will be issued at the end of 2013.

Photo directory – are you in?
Thanks to David Fraser and Tim Covert, we will soon have a new church photo directory. If you haven’t had your photo taken yet, or if you have a photo already that you would like them to use, please email david.fraser@gmail.com

Pride Float update
We have a truck, a design and a plan! Soon we will be getting together to build and decorate so that we can make our float beautiful and churchy. Please let Betsy know if you are interested in helping out.

Thanks to ...

-   Scott Taylor, Sunday’s substitute organist. Wayne Rogers attended a High Cs choral weekend in Digby.

Condolences to ...
