Sunday School resumes Sept. 8
Our Sunday School begins its year on Sunday, Sept. 8 for children from pre-school – whenever they want to leave the nursery – to junior high. Betsy would be happy to field your questions and inquiries about participating in Sunday School.

Thanks to ...
à Rev. Margaret Sagar for her pastoral leadership and care of the congregation during the summer.
à … to Dora Stinson and Terry Hurrell, and the Male Quintet (Cupido Daniels, Bob Mills, John Wallace, Herb Doane and Terry Hurrell) for their musical leadership last week. Wayne Rogers returns from holiday in September.

A warm welcome to ...
Rachel Campbell, who will serve our congregation for her part-time field placement this year. Rachel is a final-year student at the Atlantic School of Theology.

Sunday Breakfast volunteers welcome
A free community breakfast is held each Sunday morning at 8:30 am in our church hall. Breakfast is prepared and served by one of five teams in rotation. If you are interest in joining one of the breakfast teams, please email Rev. Betsy Hogan at stmatts.betsy@ns.sympatico.ca

Drying Rack needed
We are in need of a drying rack for the church laundry (dish towels, etc.).  If you have one you no longer use or would like to donate one, we’d love to hear from you.  Please contact Dora in the church office either by phone or email.   Thank you.

Annual Reports due Sept. 15
